  7. This limner tosses her hat into the ring, takes a step back, crosses her fingers, turns and walks away, determined to write just one more letter before bed time. She shivers with excitement! Oh, what if she wins??? She grins!

  14. Did you know Jan 24h (this past Monday) was/is the most depressing day of the year....(as I heard on the radio)?! Although it wasn't as cold as Monday, I thought yesterday was much more depressing! Overcast, gloomy, dirty snow stuck on my car, fighting a miserable cold for almost 2 weeks.....I would love to beat the winter blues!!

  15. You gave me hope. Until I discovered you I thought I was the last letter-writer on the planet. :) I'm working on the 365 letters. Not every day the way you did it. I'm just writing the way I used to. Wish I knew more people.

I have a give-away as well. Mine is one of my embellished journals. They sell for $35. Will you help me out by sharing my link with your readers? It will mean a lot if you do.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

  19. Commenting here about the letter-writing cafe so my comment can count for the giveaway...I'm so greedy! I do find the idea of heading out to a coffee shop with letters to write and meeting with friends. What a fabulous idea. Would love to see it in Ottawa for sure.

  20. Wow! Just discovered your blog by way of another newly discovered blog via a Postcrossing postcard that I received in today's mail! I really didn't know that there were many of us out there who are still attached to snail mail. The walk out to my mailbox each day is something that I look forward to and usually I'm not disappointed. Nothing like a handwritten postcard or letter to bring a smile. Have added your site to my blogs!

I've been an avid letter writer since I went away to college, but have just recently started to connect with people online about it. Like a few people who've commented here, I'm attempted at 365 letter project of my own--The Year of Correspondence. My humble blog offering about it is nopostonsunday.wordpress.com

Count me in for your give-away!
