TLWR Day Excursion~ You Are Invited!

Many of you commented on my post about my 2nd field trip which was a visit to Paper/Papier in the Byward Market. I am getting the urge to make another visit to see what new things have come in since my last journey there. I hope to make a trip in the next few weeks and I thought that you (and you and you!) might want to join me on this excursion~ a shopping trip made up of followers and friends of TLWR!

Perhaps, you do not get to the Byward Market very often or maybe you just hate the thought of driving to the heart of downtown Ottawa. Well, this is your chance to visit an amazing stationery shop, stock up on letter writing supplies, buy a new fountain pen or some funky cards and maybe share a cup of coffee or tea in a hip coffee house nearby after our shopping spree. Now, I am not expecting The Gingerbread Lady, Kaz, Jenni in Edmonton, Missive Maven (to name a few) or any of TLWR followers who live in far more exotic places than rural Ontario, Canada to join us but we really wish you could..........

Does this interest anyone? I am thinking of a Tuesday or a Thursday. I am sure we can carpool from the west end of Ottawa and travel together downtown. All you have to do is let me know if this is of interest to you and we will make a plan. Send me an email to keonjulie@hotmail.com and let me know if you want to join me on this excursion. I hope you can ..........I know that two of my followers live in the Kars region so maybe you two can travel in together.

I am thinking Thursday, November 4th as a possibility.

Let's make it happen.

  3. I think this is a fantastic idea, but in all likelihood, it will be during business hours/daytime? If so - I can't make it, as I'll be toiling away :)

  4. If I were in the Ottawa neighbourhood, I would be there. But, alas, I am in Vancouver. I'll live vicariously. The closest thing we have might be Paper Ya on Granville Island here in the city. A beautiful little shop with so many gorgeous papers, journals, pens....

  7. Note to self: Get passport and go to Paper/Papier.
Alternative: Call paper store in nearest town and find out their hours then brave the traffic for an after work visit.

  8. Maybe I should organize a world tour of staionery shops. So far, the locals are not able to join me but those of you from a distance want to go.

  9. I am local and want to go so badly but I have to work :(
Give it a little more time and maybe some lucky folks can sign up!
(Can I send a shopping list?..:)

  10. A great idea, Julie...count me in. And you are putting Kars on the map too! It's surprising how many people as far away as Barrhaven (11kms) don't know where Kars is!!!! For those who want a geography lesson...we are rural City of Ottawa(Capital of Canada).

  13. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
